Satpura National Park is in the district Hoshangabad of Madhya Pradesh in India. It gets its name from the Satpura hill ranges (Mahadeo hills). It covers an area of 524 sq km (202 sq mi). Satpura National Park, and along with the adjoining Bori and Panchmarhi Sanctuaries, provides 1,427 sq km (551 sq mi) of unique central Indian highland ecosystem. It was set up in 1981.
The terrain of the national park is extremely rugged and consists of sandstone peaks, narrow gorges, ravines and dense forests. The altitude ranges from 300 to 1,352 metres (980 to 4,436 ft). It has Dhoopgarh peak as high as 1,400 metres (4,600 ft) and the almost level plains of Churna.
The nearest town to the national park is Panchmarhi and the nearest railhead is Piparia 55 kilometres (34 mi) away. The state capital Bhopal is 210 kilometres (130 mi) away.
Satpura National Park, being part of a unique ecosystem, is very rich in biodiversity. The animals here are tiger, leopard, chital, Barking deer, chinkara, Gaur, wild boar, wild dog, fox, mouse deer, etc. There are a variety of birds. Hornbills and peafowls are common birds found here.The flora consists of mainly sal, teak, tendu, mahua, bamboo, and grasses and medicinal plants.

Arrival at Bhopal airport. You will be received by our Naturalist.
Drive to Reni Pani resort for lunch.
Post lunch, afternoon safari in core.
Interaction with naturalist about Satpura. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: 22/1/25:
Satpura
With an early wake up call, get set for the safari experience. Have a great morning drive.
On your return to campsite have breakfast, relax, refresh.
Lunch.
Night Safari, and return to the campsite just after sunset. Dinner and overnight at stay.
Day 3: 23/1/25:
Satpura
Morning at leisure. Take a walk in the camp forest unwind.
Breakfast at camp.
Lunch.
Post lunch set out for an afternoon safari.
Dinner and overnight at stay.
Day 4: 24/1/25:
Satpura- Bhopal
Morning Coracle ride in the morning on the river.
On your return to campsite have breakfast, relax, refresh.
Get ready with your bags packed and depart for Bhopal.
