What Is This Workshop?
Nature is an exceptional source of inspiration for art. All one needs to do is step out, explore nature and interpret it in various forms.
We plan to explore nature with kids this time. Over the last 2 years, kids have been stranded at home. This has not just limited their urge to explore but also has led to them being unable to explore their artistic side. In this workshop we take kids out into nature with our experienced naturalists. They will share the secrets of nature with the kids, help them understand wilderness and eventually with our Art Mentor the kids will learn to express their observation into various artform. This week we express our observations through drawings.
Who Can Participate?
– Kids age between 9-14 yrs (younger if the parents are confident of their independence)
Course Sessions:
Half Day!
6.30 am Report at ARAI gate. Orientation and Introduction..
6.40 am Nature trail to understand nature. Our Naturalist are trained at entertaining and handling kids. On this nature trail kids are introduced to flora and fauna of the hill. This is done through showing them species, animal calls and naturalist history stories.
7.30 am Reach Art activity area.
7.40 am Briefing on artwork. Begin creating art using nature trail as an inspiration. Under the expert guidance of our Art Mentor, kids will learn to find inspiration from nature and express it through art.
9.15 am Workshop conclusion.
9.30 am Reach back to ARAI gate. Workshop Ends.
