Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary is located in Bellary district in Karnataka. It is spread over 55.87 square km. The sanctuary was exclusively created for the preservation of Indian Sloth Bears. It is about 50 km from Bellary and near to World heritage site Hampi about 15 km. Government of Karnataka declared 5,587.30 hectares of Bilikallu reserve forest as a Daroji Bear Sanctuary in October 1994.The area between Daroji in Sandur taluk and Ramasagar of Hospet Taluk host to the Sloth Bears. Sloth Bears live in open scrub forests having outcrop of rocks, tumbled boulders and caves as shelter. Apart from Sloth bears other mammals of the fauna of the region include leopards, hyena, jackals, wild boars, porcupine, pangolins, star tortoise, monitor lizard, mongoose, pea fowls, partridges, painted spur fowl, quails etc. About 90 species of birds.
Hampi located along the Tungabhadra River is a part of North Karnataka. It is a UNESCO World heritage Site. Known for its temples and ancient ruins it has become a must visit place for tourist. The town was also known as Kishkinda in Ramayana and has a rich mythological significance for it. Hampi was a part of Vijayanagara, and became a center of economic and administrative activity of the Deccan region kingdom. Its ruins have been an important site for archaeologists and historians. Hampi thus makes a great place for people interested in history, culture, architecture and landscape.

Arrival at Hospet. Our representative would meet you at the railway station on your arrival. You would straight away proceed to Daroji by car. (3 HRS).
On arrival at Daroji. Check-in in into the resort.
Evening birding.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: 19/09/25:
Daroji- Hampi
With an early wake up call, get set for the birding experience. Spend the morning in a bird hide.
On your return to campsite have breakfast, relax refresh.
Post breakfast visit Hampi monuments.
Back to camp for lunch.
Post Lunch proceed for Daroji Bear Safari, and return to the campsite just after sunset.
Dinner and overnight at stay.
Day 3: 20/09/25:
Tungabhadra- Hampi
With an early wake up call, get set for morning birding along Tungabhadra river. Key species for the morning would be Yellow-throated bulbul.
Breakfast at Hampi.
Visit Hampi Temples today.
Lunch.
Evening step out to explore birds at sunset.
Dinner and overnight at stay.
Day 4: 21/09/25:
Daroji-Hospet
Another morning birding session.
Back to the hotel for breakfast.
Departure for Hospet.
